| Latin name: Strelitzia nicolai Common name: "Great White bird of Paradise" Light Requirement: Medium to High The "Great White Bird" can create a dramatic statement, especially with larger plants. "White Birds" are fairly diverse in their light requirement and placement on the job. The plant grows in a vase shaped pattern... which means if you turn them one direction, they are a narrow plant (as this one is placed). If you turn them the other direction they are a very wide plant. Color Me Green has "White Birds" available in 10" pots about four foot tall thru 17" specimens about 8 foot tall. |
